ATTIRE: Jake Dirden's attire consists of black wrestling trunks with a white background outline of 'DirdEY' with redleather inlayed on top that spills off the outline with a few splatters and drops looking like a blook splatter. Dirden has a black taped fist on his right hand and wrist. All black elbow pads and knee pads. Jake also wears black leather boots mid calf with the letters 'JD' on the side.

DOSSIER: Jake Dirden's past has both defined him and haunted him. Jacob Lyons was once an accountant in a cublicle 9-5 until Jake Dirden decided he couldn't live his life that way.

Jake understood that he would now realize a dream and set out looking for the ideal trainer to help him get his start in the wrestling business. Eventually Jake would chose Justin Sane to be the person he wanted to mentor him. After extensive training with the former FWF World Heavyweight champ and legend, Jake Dirden inked his first wrestling contract with HWA. Jake Dirden soon made a splash as one of the brightest rookies in 2001. That year saw some memorable matches for DirdEY against the likes of Brock Williams, Erick Caines, and even almost dethroning the at-the-time HWA World Heavyweight champion . . . . Jason Hartnell. Jake Dirden's taste of the championship strapped around his waist at the top of the ramp looking back to a shocked Hartnell just before being snapped back to reality by having the belt stripped and given back to Harty was enough to propel Jake to that same plateu in due time.

All good things come to an end as countless top talent from HWA and other promotions began leaving their current wrestling companies and jumping to the larger, more visible, FWF. As top HWA stars such as Hartnell, Dirden, and Caine made the jump, a falling out occurred with FWF ownership regarding the direction of Jake Dirden. While others such as Hartnell and Caine flourished in FWF, Dirden was unemployed and quickly becoming jaded.

Enter IWF. It would not be long before long-time FWF/IWF legend Andrew Davis would take over the reigns of IWF at a time when FWF would find real competition in the wrestling business. Davis and Dirden met and signed an IWF contract in the blink of an eye and the wrestling business began to change . . . especially for Dirden.

Jake experienced a great deal of failures and successes during his IWF run. DirdEY helped Davis power the Microsoft era in IWF before money and sponsors ran out driving the IWF out of major arenas and literally into Andy's backyard. The money hungry Dirden quickly turned on Davis when the funds dried up and struggled against the promoter for months to come. Dirden's turn caused Davis to recruit the man that trained Dirden from the beginning. Dirden and Justin Sane would have one of the most violent, unique, and intriguing matches in IWF history.

Dirden then set his sights higher. Jake needed gold. He soon stepping stoned Brian Allen to the IWF Iron Man championship before defeating the legendary Ricky Conway for his second Iron Man championship reign. This is not what Jake Dirden entered the business for however. Jake then put the FWF/IWF legend and at-the-time IWF World Heavyweight champion Dan 'KRUNCH' Pandora in his sights. Two months later Jake would finally pack away the nine pounds of gold he had always dreamt of.

Less than two weeks later Dirden would win capture the pWa World Heavyweight championship draping gold over both shoulders . . . just before the bottom dropped out. The economy collapsed. Money ran out. Promotions closed. Jake Dirden the simultaneous IWF/pWa World Heavyweight champion was . . . unemployed again. Dirden put his boots on a shelf and retired in his prime . . . before he was ready to go.

Now, 3 years later . . . the boots are off the shelf. Jake Dirden is back!
