Full Name: "The Enforcer" Brent Kersh
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 255 lb.
Hometown: Beaumont, Texas
Entrance Music: "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis
Entrance: [The sound of "Chariots of Fire" by Vangelis is heard throughout the arena, prompting the crowd to rise to their feet with a roar of excitement as the lights slowly begin to dim. Suddenly red, white, and blue pyrotechnic effects begin to explode from the base of the entrance ramp and last several seconds before "The Enforcer" Brent Kersh appears on the upper portion of the structure. The SSW Superstar steps out onto the steel stage with his hands on his hips and looking around the arena in appreciation of the response from the crowd. Kersh is wearing a loose fitting black tee shirt embroidered with the letters: SSW and soaked in sweat. In addition, "The Enforcer" is wearing his traditional wrestling attire of black tights, boots, kneepads, kneebraces, and white tape wrapped tightly around his wrists. As the colorful collage of sparks begin to die down, Kersh begins his approach to the ring. Maintaining a calm and collected mannerism, Brent moves back and forth from one side of the walkway to the other slapping hands with the fans lining the security railing. Once the professional wrestler gets to within several feet of the ring apron he sprints the remaining distance, sliding under the bottom rope and coming to his feet in the middle of the ring. The SSW Superstar lifts both hands into the air as he makes his way around the ring.]
Wrestling Attire: Black traditional wrestling tights, black kneepads and support braces, black wrestling boots, and white tape wrapped tightly around his wrists.

Background Information: Born February 9th, 1973 at Kersh Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. His father, Jack Kersh, a neurosurgeon well respected among his colleagues in the medical field; his mother, Diane (Peterson) Kersh, a Texas born and raised country girl who would grow up to earn a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and then turn fulltime housewife to raise two sons (Brent, Joseph) and a daughter (Jamie).
Brent lived a fortunate childhood, but in correlation with the moral guardianship of stereotypical Texas parents. Like many children in the "Lone Star State", Brent grew up with the desire and ambition of excelling in athletic competition in addition to the strong academic standards his parents set for him. While displaying above average talent in baseball and wrestling, Brent's sport of choice was always football. His long dedication to this love resulted in an outstanding career as a middle linebacker for the Texas A&M Aggies football program, where he also excelled as part of the wrestling team and went on to receive a Master's degree in Psychology. "The Enforcer", as he was dubbed for his style of play on the football field, went on to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles only to see his small window of opportunity of competing in the National Football League taken away by a shoulder injury. It appeared as if the college education he received as a "back up plan" to his athletic career was his only remaining option. And then Kersh was introduced to the possibility of a career in . . . professional wrestling.
His childhood memories of "Prime Time Wrestling" sparked his interest and his amateur wrestling background made him a viable candidate to compete in the professional ranks. On August 4th, 1998 Brent Kersh was victorious in his first professional wrestling bout as a Fans Wrestling Federation "Superstar". As the saying goes, " . . . the rest is history".
For the next ten years, his style referred to as "boring" and "repetitive" by many of those in the "wrestling entertainment" genre became a loved and admired attribute to the fans of professional wrestling. During this time, Kersh competed consistently in four different federations (FWF, CWA, HWA, IW, PWR:One) to compile an overall singles record of 129-32-8, winning the World Championship and numerous other titles in each of his respected federations. However, in the later years of his career becoming a husband (Nicole Anderson Kersh) and father (Trevor, Danielle) made even more difficult the already rigorous schedule and physical and mental sacrifices of a professional wrestler. This compounded by the "Business and Entertainment" attitude and antics of the professional wrestling world made the cost of fair competition much too high for Kersh. Even with the support of his family and closest friends to continue to compete and against the resistance of fans worldwide, Brent Kersh walked away from the sport he came to love, vowing never to return.
But he did return. This time as the President and Cheif Executive Officer of a Texas based wrestling promotion that would emphasize competition above all else. "The Wrestling Domain" was created to provide a professional wrestling atmosphere void of the "Business and Entertainment" mentality, but Kersh would eventually come to realize that even as the "Executive in Charge" he couldn't overcome the entity that had followed him his entire career. Backstage politics and financial elements slowly desolated the promotion, forcing Kersh to sell to a private investor thus eliminating himself as an executive presence and ending his vision. The acquisition; however, would not end Brent's motivation and only weeks later "The Enforcer" would find himself on the TWD Roster as a willing competitor. Unfortunately, his participation as a member of the active roster would not last long due to a brutal attack that would leave Kersh on the shelf long enough for the growing turmoil of the promotion to force it to close its doors.
Months passed and little had been heard or said about Kersh within the world of professional wrestling. Until the reopening of Championship Wrestling X and a long lasting friendship between Brent Kersh and Kevin Phillips, the CWX owner, presented the opportunity to promote an entity built on the ideas of integrity, athleticism, and honor with possibly the single greatest example of those attributes in the history of professional wrestling, "The Enforcer" Brent Kersh. Kersh was victorious in his exhibition bout and was rumored to have been pondering a long term contract with the promotion. Ultimately; however, "The Enforcer" rejected the contract offer and returned to retirement comfortable with the possibility that he may never again find the motivation to climb back into the ring.
Eureka! Most felt it would have taken the perfect opportunity to convince Kersh to return to the sport of professional wrestler as a full-time competitor. That perfect opportunity was born with the founding of Sunshine State Wrestling. A rivaled past exists between Brent Kersh and Jason Hartnell, but one of which harbors respect. That respect has brought "The Enforcer" to SSW with the belief that Hartnell's uncanny ability to succeed in both the business and sport of professional wrestling will propel the promotion to the elite levels of the sport. With that stature comes elite competition. A primary quality Kersh has chased throughout his entire career.
